Our story began with a blessing and opportunity from God. We were given the chance to take over a small fast-casual Tex-Mex restaurant called Taco Ardiente. It was the beginning of a new chapter for our family and an opportunity to share our love of Mexican food with the Naples community and beyond.

Over time, we began introducing more authentic Mexican dishes inspired by the flavors and traditions of Oaxaca. Oaxaca is a state in southern Mexico known for its rich Indigenous culture, vibrant traditions, and distinctive cuisine.

Our menu grew to include favorites such as Mole platters (Enchiladas de Mole to Chilaquilesde de Mole), Tlayudas—large, crispy Oaxacan-style tostadas—and Bistec a la Mexicana, a Mexican-style steak dish that has become one of our most popular items.

At the same time, we didn’t want to forget the loyal customers who had supported us from the very beginning and loved the restaurant’s Tex-Mex favorites. That’s why we kept many of the classics, including our 8 hard taco special, 6 ground beef soft taco special, Chimichangas, Nacho Grande, and much more. That combination of traditional Mexican and Oaxacan dishes with familiar Tex-Mex favorites has become part of what makes us who we are today.

As our family business grew with hard work and consistency, we were fortunate to move from our smaller original location a few units across into the spacious restaurant we now call home. With more room came the opportunity to offer even more—from authentic food and a full bar serving refreshing margaritas, micheladas, palomas, and more, to a place where families and friends can come together, celebrate, and enjoy themselves.

Our restaurant also features a large and spacious back bar giving us plenty of room to accommodate large parties, family gatherings, birthdays, and special celebrations.

Today, La Sierra Mexican Restaurant & Bar is proud to continue growing while staying true to where our journey began: family, great food, warm hospitality, and gratitude for the community that has supported us along the way.
